Thursday, 18th February 2010 - A Presentation of Certificates and Letters of Appreciation Ceremony was held at the Member’s Lounge, Empire Hotel and Country Club. Officiating the ceremony was the Acting Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Awang Haji Abd Raub bin Haji Mohd Yassin.

The Acting Director of ACB praised the recipients for their outstanding morale. He further stated being key witnesses in trials and to come forward to report on corruption activity is not an easy task. He hoped that such actions would be continued and practiced by all individuals, whether from the public or private sectors or members of the public.

The Chairman, Acting Senior Assistant Director of ACB, Awang Haji Balim bin Haji Bali, stated that the ceremony represents the annual activity organized by the Investigation Section of the Ant-Corruption Bureau. The Ceremony was held to commemorate individuals who have provided assistance and cooperation by providing information to ACB and who had become key witnesses in ACB’s investigations.

About 10 individuals received the certificate and letters of appreciation from the Anti-Corruption Bureau comprising of civil servants, private sector and members of the public.
